Rapid Diagnosis of Patients with Brain Damage
Determine the level of a patient’s brain damage and to improve treatment
Context
The numerous neuropsychological tests used to evaluate patients with psychological distress or cognitive impairment are not suitable for acute stage patients with brain damage.
Project
The project will create an app to assist in diagnostics, by relying on the expertise of software developers, neurologists, and psychiatrists at the HUG. We can thus expect to decrease the time to treatment for patients with severe brain damage and to treat these patients based on the level of their brain damage.
