Sexuality and HIV: Learning to Talk About It

Provide HIV patients with better resilience through dialogue

Context

Although it was fatal 25 years ago, today infection with HIV is compatible with a normal life, with one pill to swallow every day. Unfortunately, many patients don’t fully benefit from this revolution because stigma and discrimination impact their daily life, and especially their sexuality. It results in additional suffering.

Project

This project, developed in partnership with the HIV unit, the gynecology-obstetrics department, and the sexuality division, provides training designed for caregivers and information designed for patients, to help them talk about sexuality and improve their quality of life.
